A Season of Invitation

All of us have friends, neighbors, coworkers even acquaintances that may be searching for something more in their life. This is the perfect time to offer an invitation to someone you know to join you for Sunday worship or Christmas Eve. To help you out, we’ve listed some ideas for how you can spread the word about our church.1. Facebook – consider “sharing” the Christmas Eve postcard in your newsfeed with an invitation to check out one of our seven services. In order to easily share images, check out our Facebook page. You can easily click on any post or image and select ‘share’ to post it to your own newsfeed and share it with your friends. If you have never been to our page, go here and click ‘like’ or search for ‘TheGathering’ (all one word) on Facebook.2. Email – Forward friends our email invite that is sent out each Friday during Advent. Add your own personal note to the email.3. Twitter – Start following The Gathering (@gathering_umc) on twitter. Retweet our invitations to those who follow you.4. Web – share past sermons and videos via The Gathering’s website, let people know that they can subscribe to our podcast on i-Tunes. We appreciate all of you that share your excitement about what God is doing through our church.
