What’s your story?
Grew up in Union, moved to St. Louis during college. Undergrad in History/Pol.Science and MA in Computer Resource & Info Mgmt. Moved to Kirkwood in 1998, married in 2000. I have 2 wonderful children: Carmen 6yrs and Owen 8 yrs. I was blessed to be a part of the group of people who came from Webster Hills UMC with Matt to start up The Gathering. Being a part of this endeavor and seeing how The Gathering is changing peoples’ lives has been one of the most meaningful and rewarding experiences in my life.
Who are the people in your life?
My family, friends at The Gathering, friends from my kids’ school and dance/sports teams, neighbors
Favorite thing about St. Louis?
The many different “nooks” in the city to hang out and eat…CWE, downtown, Washington Ave., Soulard, South City, Lafayette Square, U City Loop, Maplewood, & more….and of course, The Cardinals!
Favorite movie quote?
Ron Burgandy from Anchorman, “I don’t know how to put this, but I’m kind of a big deal.”
What do you love about being on staff?
Being able to “work” with incredibly talented people who have unique personalities, are very funny, and who all work together to help achieve our vision at The Gathering.
Most unexpected thing about The Gathering?
The amazing diversity of talent and gifts in our congregation and serving in ministry – volunteers & staff.
