The Gathering name comes from the New Testament. Here, the Greek word for “church” is “ekklesia,” which literally means an assembly or gathering of people. We believe the church is a community of people committed to following Christ together.

The Atmosphere
The Gathering is one church that meets in many locations, so no matter where you come to worship you will get the look and feel of a small church. Our services are casual. You will see people dressed in their Sunday best, but the majority of people simply come as they are.

The Preaching
Most weeks you will hear a sermon from our lead pastor, Matt Miofsky, but at times you’ll hear preaching from the site pastors at each site. Either way our sermons usually last 20 to 30 minutes. You can even check out some of our past sermons in our sermon archive.

Your Family
Each one of our services is staffed with a team dedicated to loving, teaching and caring for your children. You can see a full list of our kids ministry offerings at each service here. You can find more information about our student ministry here.

The Music
Singing together is an important part of worship. We sing a mixture of contemporary songs and ancient hymns. Our worship team also writes original music. You can check it out here.
