The Bible is full of dynamic duos…Elizabeth and Mary, David and Nathan, Ruth and Naomi, Paul and Timothy. Great leaders in scripture had mentors and mentored others. Jesus even sent the disciples out “two by two.” Too often, though, we try to go it alone, individuality is praised, needing help is perceived as weak. But, scripture shows us there is great power in having people in our life who selflessly invest in us as well as people in whom we invest.
