CURRENT SERMON SERIES
The beloved community
Feb 9 - Mar 2
Dr. King described Beloved Community as a just, loving, and equitable society where everyone was treated with dignity. It was a reflection of what God’s kingdom is like, and what our world should be like. But our world is far from that vision, and that includes the church. As a mostly white church in a city steeped in racial divisions, The Gathering will dive into the sin of racism, talk about God’s hope for what our church, and our community, could be. Gathering pastors and guest preachers will build a biblical and practical framework for working against racism in our lives and community. Whether you're just beginning or well on your way, join us as we work together to grow closer to becoming The Beloved Community one person and one decision at a time.

Virtual Implicit Bias Group
7 pm, Sundays, February 16 - March 2
This virtual group, moderated by experienced anti-racist facilitators, is specifically designed for those not in a CoreGroup to complete the course, Implicit Bias: What We Don’t Think We Think, together. If you're in a CoreGroup, your leader will give you details on accessing and completing the course. No need to sign up here. We strongly recommended completing the course in a group setting. However, if you want to do so independently, you can access it here.
