Serve in the community.

The Gathering was founded out of a desire to make a significant impact on our city, and beyond.

Service allows us to:

Develop relationships in our community,
Express God's love to others, and
Lift up people in our city and beyond.

THE LITERACY PARTNERSHIP

As a ministry of The Gathering, The Literacy Project comes alongside elementary schools in the St. Louis Public Schools (SLPS) and Normandy Schools Collaborative (NSC) to help them accomplish their early childhood literacy goals, show staff appreciation, and provide families with brand new children's books for their home libraries.

THE MOZAMBIQUE INITIATIVE

Globally, The Gathering gives away 100% of our Christmas Eve offering every year to the Mozambique Safe Water Initiative - which has enabled more than 100 new wells to be built throughout the country. From time to time, Gathering members travel to Mozambique  to work alongside and be in community with people in the villages where we've dug wells.
