Celebrating LGBTQ+ People

RADICALLY INCLUSIVE

The Gathering welcomes and affirms LGBTQ+ persons and invites all to participate in every aspect of our ministry. What binds us together at The Gathering is our desire to follow Christ together. We celebrate our diversity as a reflection of God’s creation and invite you, whatever your sexual orientation or your gender identity, to join us just as you are.

<<< Check out this sermon from our Lead Pastor, Matt Miofsky, as he unpacks what the bible says about being gay and our approach on inclusion.

JOIN US!

For some, a relationship with God felt like an impossible choice between our identity and our faith. And yet, God never left. No matter what was told to us on the outside, the inside told us a different story. At The Gathering, we echo this story – your story.

As a community of LGBTQ members and allies, the Emerge | LGBTQ Connection is dedicated to inclusion, connection, and healing. With small groups, social events, service projects, and outreach opportunities, you’ll find a group of people to support, love, and remind you that you are known by God and loved by God – exactly as you are. We hope you’ll join us for connection and worship.

FAMILIES SUPPORTING THEIR LGBTQ+ YOUTH

Are you the parent or loved one of a LGBTQ+ person?
You might think that being a person of faith and accepting and supporting your LGBTQ+ child are two separate realities.

At The Gathering, we believe that they can be one and the same thing.

Born out of a desire to strengthen families and decrease LGBTQ+ youth homelessness, Generation Green Light is a commitment to support parents and families in their journey toward becoming faithfully inclusive.
