Dear One who loves us so.
So much that perhaps we are the only person to see the cricket that crossed our path today.
So much that you know the things our hearts keep hidden even from ourselves.
So much that you revealed yourself to us in your most vulnerable form – the flesh and blood of a baby.
Teach us to beautify our gaze with a graced eye toward seeing you everywhere.
Teach us a willingness to be gazed upon - to be known by you.
Thank you for being a relational God who wants intimacy with us.
Who is so close, even now, that we feel your warm breath on our cheek.
