Scripture:

The King will reply, “Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.” - Matthew 25:40

Reflection:
Jesus told a story about two groups, the goats and the sheep. They’d been judged and separated. The difference between the two groups? How they treated the least of these. The sheep had clothed the naked, fed the hungry, given water to the thirsty, and visited those in prison. Every community has those who struggle more than others. In many states in America, Black Americans are 5 times more likely to be imprisoned than whites and twice as likely to live below the poverty line. Of the 500 Fortune 500 companies, only four have CEOs who are black. Who are the least of these in your community? Who gets overlooked? Who is actively persecuted? What are you doing to serve them, or what COULD you be doing?
