The Fifth Sunday of Lent

The Fifth Sunday in Lent
Sunday, March 21

If you're anything like me you have a vague sense that Easter is coming, but you haven't thought too much about it. Well, I'm here to let you know that there are only two Sundays left before Easter!

This year we will be holding online Maundy Thursday, Good Friday, and Easter services. Mark your calendar, invite a friend, and join us at live.gatheringnow.org.

Maundy Thursday
Pull up a chair, take a seat around our shared virtual table and reflect upon the words of Scripture that guide us toward God's new commandment to love one another as God has loved us.  It will be a time of reflection, communion and inspiration to serve and be served. All are welcome to this table.
Thursday, April 1

Good Friday
Good Friday marks the day when the world’s great suffering and God’s forgiveness met. Drawing upon Matthew 27:45-54, we will experience the tearing of the temple curtain and step together into what the sacrifice of Jesus means for our lives.
Friday, April 2

Easter
Online Worship Experience
Sunday, April 4

A practice to try this week:
Think of someone in your life who might find Holy Week and Easter worship encouraging. Near or far, anyone can participate in our online services. Reach out and share an invitation to join you for one or all of the special services.
