🚨 Service Opportunity Alert 🚨
If you've been around a while you are probably familiar with The Literacy Project. In non-pandemic times this is our program where members of the congregation work one-on-one with kindergarten and first grade students as reading mentors.
At this time, the pandemic is keeping us from sending mentors into the schools, but we are still able to support the teachers at our partner schools. Every month we provide small treats and tokens of appreciation to every staff and faculty member at each of our partner schools.
We need help to create and deliver the treats each month. If your CoreGroup signs up to help, someone from The Literacy Project Teacher Appreciation Team will work with you on all the details!
There are spots throughout the year, so even if it's not a fit for your group right now you can sign up for next semester.
